How to Join Our SETI@home Team

1. Read the SETI@home rules and policies.

2. Get a SETI@home account:

    If you participated in the original SETI@home classic project, your account has been
    automatically transferred. You just need to activate the account.

    Otherwise, create a new account. You will receive an e-mail with your account ID (a long
    random string). Be sure to save your ID.

3. Download, install, and run the BOINC software.

4. Join our team at the SETI@home website.

5. Send an e-mail request to our Fearless Leader to join our group on AOL for e-mail updates,
    team member information, etc.  Once you have been added to the group, it is accessible from
    either America Online or AOL Instant Messenger.
